Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all billing-related processes for mitigation jobs.
• Review and validate job documentation, including estimates, invoices, and supporting documents.
• Ensure compliance with insurance requirements and SERVPRO® Franchise billing standards.
• Work closely with insurance adjusters, clients, and internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies.
• Utilize Xactimate and other billing software to prepare and submit accurate estimates.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices.
• Maintain detailed records of billing communications and job files.
• Provide training and guidance to team members on proper billing procedures.

Position Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in restoration billing, insurance claims, or related field.
• Experience with Xactimate is required.
• Strong knowledge of insurance policies, billing codes, and mitigation job processes.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
• High school diploma/GED required; IICRC certifications preferred but not required.
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods and perform data entry tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple billing tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law.

Pay Rate:

Competitive salary based on experience.
