Customer Development Manager 2 - Mickey Thompson

As a Customer Development Manager 2, you will be the primary field-level liaison between our company and a portfolio of business owners. Youll drive profitable growth by implementing strategic, consultative sales approaches and category-level planning aligned with our broader business objectives. 

What Youll Do

• Managing day-to-day customer relationships and ensuring effective two-way communication.
• Delivering account objectives for unit volume, sales revenue, and profitability through strategic pricing, programs, and portfolio development.
• Leading category business planning with customers, including assortment, new product execution, pricing, merchandising, and promotional strategies.
• Collaborating with internal teams (e.g., Supply Chain, Finance, Category Management) to meet customer service goals.
• Leveraging internal resources such as Business Insight Analysts and Best Practices Teams to enhance customer partnerships.
• Identifying opportunities and developing strategic solutions to drive profitable growth through assortment, pricing, promotion, and supply.

What Were Looking For

• A bachelors degree in Marketing or Sales (or 11+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree).
• At least 6 years of experience in customer development and support.
• Advanced analytical skills to assess data and draw actionable insights.
• Strong problem-solving abilities grounded in business principles and practices.
• Were seeking a results-driven professional with a strong background in customer development and strategic sales.
