Responsibilities:• Process and post cash payments accurately and efficiently.• Apply customer receipts to the accounts receivable subledger.• Utilize Great Plains software to manage financial data and transactions.• Ensure timely and precise cash applications to maintain account integrity.• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and payment issues.• Monitor accounts receivable balances and address outstanding payments.• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all cash postings.• Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.• Provide support for audits by preparing necessary reports and data.
Requirements• Proven experience in cash applications and accounts receivable.• Strong proficiency in processing and posting cash payments.• Familiarity with Great Plains software or similar financial systems.• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.• Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of productivity.• Strong organizational skills for managing multiple tasks simultaneously.• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients.• Prior experience in a contract-based role is a plus.Information :
