DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented Purchasing Specialist to join our team in Aliso Viejo, California. In this Contract-to-permanent position, you will play a key role in managing procurement tasks and ensuring timely delivery of materials for various design projects. This opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels in organization and vendor coordination.

Responsibilities:• Prepare and process purchase orders to ensure accurate and timely procurement of materials.• Maintain and update supplier records, material logs, and inventory databases.• Collaborate with vendors to track delivery schedules and resolve any issues related to orders.• Coordinate with design teams to ensure materials arrive on time for project deadlines.• Monitor inventory levels and recommend reordering strategies to avoid shortages.• Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams to clarify requirements and expectations.• Support multiple design projects simultaneously while adhering to tight deadlines.• Utilize purchasing systems and tools to streamline procurement processes.• Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and procedures.• Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities and negotiating favorable terms with suppliers.

Requirements• Previous experience in purchasing or procurement administration.• Proficiency in preparing, processing, and tracking purchase orders.• Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.• Familiarity with Office software and purchasing systems; experience in design or project-based environments is preferred.• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records.• Ability to work collaboratively with vendors and internal teams.• Previous experience in manufacturing or interior design environments is a plus.
