- Get hands-on experience creating and maintaining EHS programs, including Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.
- Assist in auditing LOTO systems and updating safety documentation to ensure OSHA compliance.
- Analyze emissions and temperature data from Regenerative Thermal Oxidizers (RTOs) to support environmental reporting and compliance.
- Gain experience preparing state-level emissions reports and EPA permitting documentation.
- Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for safety incidents and near-misses, contributing to corrective action planning.
- Use Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze EHS data, track compliance metrics, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Undergraduate student graduating in 2027, 2028 or 2029 or masters / graduate student pursuing a degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, Occupational Health & Sciences or similar
- Microsoft Excel - Proficient in data analysis, charting, and reporting for EHS metrics.
- Root Cause Analysis - Preferred experience through coursework or internships.
- EPA Permitting - Familiarity with environmental permitting and regulatory reporting (preferred).
- OSHA Regulations - Understanding of key safety standards, including JSA and LOTO (preferred).

Additional information- This internship is NOT eligible for a housing stipend or relocation support.
- Henkels Summer 2026 internship program starts on May 27th, 2026, and runs through mid-August.
