Shipping and Receiving Clerk

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our clients team in Carlsbad, CA. This full-time position combines hands-on warehouse responsibilities with light office administrative tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments and materials

• Accurately prepare and package outgoing shipments, including labeling and documentation

• Maintain shipping and receiving logs and inventory records

• Coordinate with carriers and vendors to schedule deliveries and pickups

• Perform basic data entry and update inventory management systems

• Support office tasks such as filing, scanning, ordering supplies, and answering phones

• Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse operations is preferred

• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, data entry)

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods

• Dependable, punctual, and a team player

Working Hours:

• Full-time

• Onsite

• Monday- Friday

• 8:00am-5:00pm PST

• Located in Carlsbad, San Diego 

• Contract to hire role

• Compensation: $20.00 per hour
