About the role

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Low Voltage Cabling Project Manager to lead structured cabling projects across multiple sites in the U.S. This role is responsible for managing all phases of project delivery—from planning and design to execution and close-out—ensuring high-quality installations and client satisfaction. Along the way, you will get to: 

• Manage end-to-end low voltage cabling projects including voice, data, fiber optic, and security and AV systems. 

• Conduct site assessments and develop detailed project scopes, schedules, and budgets. 

• Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure timely and compliant execution. 

• Oversee procurement and logistics of materials and equipment. 

• Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and maintain documentation. 

• Responsible for managing all financial aspects of assigned projects including forecasting revenue recognition, cost, and gross margin. 

• Ensure adherence to industry standards (TIA/EIA, BICSI, NEC) and safety regulations. 

What youll need to join Insight

• 3+ years of experience in low voltage cabling or structured cabling project management. 

• Strong knowledge of cabling standards and installation practices. 

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. 

• Proficiency in project management tools and software. 

• Excellent organizational, communication, financial tracking, and leadership skills. 

• Willingness to travel up to 50% across the U.S. 

• Valid drivers license. 

Preferred Certifications 

• RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer) 
• PMP (Project Management Professional)
