AI Business Process Transformation Consultant (Contract) 

We have an opportunity for a highly capable and forward-thinking contractor to join our Business Strategy team in the United States, reporting to Senior Director, Business Strategy.  In this pivotal role, you will support cross-functional teams in translating complex business processes into IT requirements, with a focus on leveraging AI technologies. Collaborating closely with business stakeholders and technical teams and serving as a bridge, you will help to reimagine workflows and solutions through the lens of AI-driven automation and insight.  

Be a Contributor — What Youll Do 

• Engage with stakeholders across business units to understand current-state processes 

• Collaborate with teams to design future-state workflows optimized with AI capabilities 

• Translate business needs into clear, actionable IT requirements and solution briefs 

• Facilitate AI use-case discovery and prioritization aligned with business goals 

• Guide change management and user adoption strategies for AI-enabled solutions 

• Evaluate off-the-shelf AI tools versus custom builds and advise on implementation approach 

• Work closely with IT, External Vendors, and Business Units to support solution design and delivery 

Be Prepared — What You Bring 

• 10+ years experience in IT or Operations 

• Proven experience in change management and digital transformation 

• Understanding and experience with business process improvement 

• Strong understanding of AI and how it can be used in business process transformation 

• Familiarity with process modeling tools (e.g., BPMN, Visio, Lucidchart) and requirement-gathering frameworks

• Excellent stakeholder communication and facilitation skills 

• Experience in agile like environments and collaborating with business and technical teams 

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field 

• Other relevant experience will include:  
  • 5+ years in business/IT consulting, ideally with exposure to AI transformation initiatives
  • Bonus: Experience with tools like ChatGPT, OpenAI, Glean, or other AI/automation platforms
  • Experience working in enterprise environments with cross-functional teams

This is a 6 month, extendable contract. Offers reflect role location, internal equity, experience, skills, education, and certifications. Hourly wage for this position is $55 - $75
