About the teamThe payments landscape is changing rapidly, and our team is at the forefront of this transformation. Stripes Global Product Strategy & Operations team is a small, high impact team. We help run the Global and Local Payment Methods (LPM) product organization, which is responsible for helping Stripe and our users expand globally, as well as Stripes fastest-growing payments business: local payment methods. Our team works cross functionally within the Global and LPM product team and across Stripe to drive and enable the growth of Stripes Global business. We develop the long-term strategic plan for Global, drive an operating model that allows the Global organization to operate at scale, and design and incubate high impact 0→1 initiatives. Whatever it is, we work on what will move the needle most for Stripe.
What youll doIn this role, you will work cross-functionally within our group and across Stripes technical and user-facing teams to solve problems that benefit our users. Specifically:
- Work on cross-cutting strategy projects and collaborate with teams to implement changes.
- Partner directly with senior leaders and cross functional teams to accelerate progress, solve hard scaling initiatives, and incubate new programs.
Drive analysis and research to help inform our market expansion strategy.^
Help shape the product roadmap for the Global & LPM Product business through robust gathering of competitive intelligence, user insights, and data analysis.
Advise Product, Engineering, GTM & cross-functional leadership teams on where resources should be deployed to maximize long-term strategic value.
Partner with Finance to drive planning processes, including investment decisions, strategy updates, operational plans, and OKRs.
Maintain a pulse on the financial health of the Global business, highlighting key metrics and trends and developing action plans to drive improvements.

Minimum requirements- Strategic thinker and operator with 7+ years of work experience (including 3+ years in management/ strategy consulting) with a consistent track record of excellence.
- Ability to understand complex, technical products and articulate their value to non-technical audiences.
- Passion for structuring and solving highly ambiguous strategic problems and owning end-to-end execution of solutions.
- Experience leading complex, cross-functional projects with multiple functional stakeholders.
- Experience working directly with Product and Engineering teams.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with a proven ability to work effectively with multiple, cross-functional stakeholders, including users.
- A “can do” attitude, comfort with ambiguity, and ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working in a fintech or payments-focused technology company.
- Experience working on market entry strategies for businesses expanding globally.
- Experience working with SQL and using data to identify trends, generate insights and solve problems.
