We are powered by Impellam Group, a connected group providing global workforce and specialist recruitment solutions. Our client has engaged us to assist them in hiring a contract Program Manager. If you are interested in an opportunity to get your foot in the door with leading company, we want to talk with you! Job Responsibilities Your specific duties as a Program Manager will include:

  • Customer Engagement: Maintain strong relationships with external customers by keeping them informed of Sogefis latest product improvements and enhancements.
  • Business Development: Identify future product needs to sustain and expand Sogefis market position. Prospect for new OEM accounts and seek new growth opportunities.
  • Customer Liaison: Serve as the primary link between customers and internal functions, ensuring effective communication of requests.
  • Prototype Management: Specify requirements and assist in the procurement of prototypes for system validation.
  • Program Profitability: Oversee financial aspects of assigned platforms, coordinating SQRs, cost management, and variance tracking.
  • Pricing & Negotiation: Partner with the Sales Manager to establish pricing strategies, lead presentations, and negotiate contracts with customers to ensure profitability.
  • Customer Relationship Development: Build strong partnerships with OEM Engineering and Purchasing teams to gain insights into upcoming programs, market trends, and pricing strategies.
  • Cross-functional Coordination: Facilitate communication between customers and Sogefi Air & Cooling teams to foster effective collaboration.
  • APQP Leadership: Coordinate Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities across Sogefi teams for assigned customer platforms.
  • Brand Representation: Represent Sogefi Group through direct customer engagement, communication, and industry networking to build trust and confidence.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Support various strategic initiatives and projects as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in engineering or a similar field (preferred).
  • Minimum of five years experience in program management or a related leadership position.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams indirectly.
  • Experience working with diverse, multi-lingual teams is a plus.
  • Proven experience in program management, business development, or a related field.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Expertise in the automotive industry, particularly OEM air & cooling systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Financial acumen with experience managing program profitability.

Starting salary of minimum to $130K-150k below max depending on education, skills, experience and level of experience
