Join us. **Job Description** AECOM is hiring an experienced and talented **Senior Bridge Engineer** to lead impactful bridge design projects. This position offers a hybrid work model and can be based in any of our South Carolina offices: Columbia, Charleston, or Greenville. **Job Content:** + Lead engineer on mid and large-size projects + Participates in the development of technical proposals + Presents complex technical solutions to clients + Market bridge and structural design services to clients + Lead junior engineers and work successfully on a team. + Provides specialized technical input and oversight to studies and designs for bridge and other transportation structural elements + Prepares necessary plans, specifications, estimates, and technical memorandums. **Qualifications** **Minimum:** + Bachelors Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering or related field and 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. + PE (Professional Engineer) in South Carolina or ability to transfer through reciprocity **Preferred:** + Knowledge of industry standards and practices + Experience with Local SCDOT bridge projects. + Masters Degree in Structural Engineering or related field **Additional Information** + Relocation assistance is not available for this role + Sponsorship is available for this role Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications.
