Job Summary

A Medical Technologist: 

  • Performs analyses in hematology, chemistry urinalysis, coagulation, blood bank and microbiology according to expected performance standards
  • Performs venipuncture, finger stick, or heel stick on identified patients by physicians request in a timely, accurate and caring manner
  • Keeps documented records current regarding maintenance and quality control
  • Meets the lab service goals as scheduled or report problems to lab director
  • Promotes adherence to the Companys Code of Business Conduct and the Corporate Compliance Agreement by monitoring employee performance and identifying and responding to compliance issues
