Registered Dietitian - Part-Time | Natchez, MS

Nutrition That Works, LLC is seeking a registered dietitian to support two long-term care facilities in Natchez, MS. This opportunity starts ASAP for 8 hours/week or 4 hours/week at each facility.

Highlights of the Role:

  • Location: Natchez, MS

  • Schedule: 8 hours/week (or 4 hours/week at each facility)

  • Duration: Open-ended

  • Facility Type: 96-bed long-term care facility and 58-bed long-term care facility

  • Start Date: ASAP

  • Drive Time: Offered for qualifying candidates

  • Experience: LTC and MDS experience preferred

Your Assignment Will Include:
  • Completing nutritional assessments and maintaining documentation
  • Documenting with the Nutrition Care Process in the electronic medical record system 
  • Collaborating with the interdisciplinary care plan team and food service team 
  • Calculations and recommendations for enteral feedings 
  • Making recommendations for wounds and significant weight changes
  • Completing MDS - Section K
  • Maintaining confidentiality and patient information in accordance with HIPAA
Requirements:
  • Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) through the CDR
  • Licensed in Mississippi (must be active prior to start date)
  • Must pass a pre-employment screening process, including background and health checks
