Sales Technician

Role Overview

ABS Global, a Genus PLC Company, has an exciting opportunity. We are looking for a Sales Technician to provide technical knowledge, advice and support. The Sales Technician has primary responsibility for providing support to Sales Representatives, resellers and customers to resolve requests regarding product/service and technical issues while maximizing the benefits derived from the organizations products and services. Engage in daytime travel to customer sites as required, providing on-site support and consultations. The position is located in Western New York on a remote basis.

The salary range for this position in the US is $55,000 - $65,000 USD plus Commission. The salary provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Genus considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidates work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

You Will

• Use knowledge of how the team integrates with others to accomplish the team objectives.
• Provide informal guidance and support to more junior team members.
• Explain technical information within the team.
• Uphold the Genus core values, mission and vision.
• Position may require work responsibilities outside of normal business hours.
• Performs other projects and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree or associates degree in Agribusiness or related field preferred.
• Prior experience in dairy insemination is a plus but not required.
• Ability to complete work with a limited degree of supervision.
• Strong communication skills; ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and proactive.
• Valid Drivers License required.
