Family owned- 3 doctor practice is seeking an Insurance Coordinator as a key member and contributor to our team. This “attention to detail” position provides in depth support for all insurance related duties of the office that will allow for successful treatment planning for our patients. This position is responsible for the verifications, coordination of benefits, calculating patient co-pays and ongoing communications with insurance carriers. Great interpersonal skills are required to build rapport with the patients, staff and insurance carriers. We incorporate state of the art, Dental Intel Engagement in addition to the utilization of Dentrix software. This position could be full or part-time with prior insurance knowledge being a plus.
Responsibilities:
-Responsible for insurance verifications and communications to staff and patients for accurate co-pay amounts and treatment plans.
-Coordinates and troubleshoots any issues related to insurance payments.
-Serves as a liaison between insurance carriers, staff and patients to resolve any concerns and maintain a positive working relationship.
-Ensures all insurance related duties are completed in a timely and accurate manner to ensure excellent patient relations and financial success for our practice.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
