As our company continues to grow, we are seeking a dedicated Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team.
Position Overview
The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for managing the companys receivables, ensuring timely invoicing, reconciling accounts, and maintaining strong customer relationships to support cash flow and financial accuracy. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external customers.
Key Responsibilities
● Oversee our invoicing process, ensuring order accuracy and timeliness.
● Process payments, deposits, and adjustments in accounting software.
● Collaborate with the sales, warehouse, and dispatch teams to resolve billing issues.
● Manage a structured weekly collections process to meet cash flow targets.
● Proactively reach out to customers via phone and email to secure timely payments.
● Identify patterns of late payments and work with management to develop strategies for improvement.
● Prepare aging reports and provide updates on outstanding receivables.
● Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to AR.
● Maintain detailed records of collection efforts and account communications.
● Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications & Skills
● Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
● Experience: 2+ years of accounts receivable or related finance experience.
● Proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, or other accounting software.
● Strong knowledge of billing, collections, and reconciliation processes.
● Excellent communication and customer service skills.
● Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
● Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial reporting tools.
This sales role will report directly to the Accounts Receivable Sr. Manager
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 per year
