We are seeking a Product Data Specialist to support a high-volume parts organization by ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of product data across multiple systems. This role is ideal for someone with strong master data management experience, a retail or catalog background, and a keen eye for detail.Role OverviewThe Product Data Specialist will be responsible for managing and maintaining master data records, ensuring all item data is accurate, complete, and formatted for seamless integration into Informatica and ERP systems. This role requires experience working with large datasets, supplier communications, product catalogs, and image processing. The ideal candidate will have the ability to manipulate and optimize product images for use in digital and print catalogs, ensuring consistency and high-quality presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain master data records for new and existing products.
- Review incoming data requests for completeness, gather missing information, and work with internal teams and suppliers to ensure data accuracy.
- Obtain and verify key product details such as lead times, pricing, and supplier part information.
- Format and prepare data for upload into Informatica and ERP systems.
- Create part number cross-references, linking internal parts to supplier parts.
- Perform data cleansing and standardization, ensuring consistency across platforms.
- Analyze and troubleshoot data issues, implementing solutions to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Optimize and manipulate product images to meet catalog and digital standards.
- Work with Bill of Materials (BOM) and data standards to maintain high-quality product data.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including procurement, supply chain, and IT, to optimize data processes.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Master Data Administrator, Product Data Specialist, or similar role.
- Strong background in high-volume product data management, ideally within retail, e-commerce, or catalog-based environments.
- Experience working with ERP and PIM systems (Informatica, SAP, Oracle, Stibo, or similar).
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data manipulation techniques.
- Experience with image editing and optimization using Photoshop, GIMP, or similar tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage supplier communication and work cross-functionally to obtain critical product information.
- Experience with Bill of Materials (BOM), data governance, and standardization processes.

- Compensation: $45 - $55 per hour
