Requisition Number2228702 Description & Requirements Are you an accounting student striving for CPA eligibility and looking for a full-time opportunity in Tax? At Forvis Mazars, you can use your critical thinking abilities to help clients solve problems or apply your social skills to build rewarding business relationships. You will work with clients from a variety of industries as you develop your technical skills and strengthen the foundation on which you will build your career. You will be coached by our experienced staff and management personnel. As your skill set grows, you will assume greater responsibility and actively participate in determining your career path. How you will contribute:

• Working with client personnel to reconcile account differences and analyze financial data
• Preparing individual, corporate, partnership, or other tax returns
• Calculating tax extension or estimating payments
• Participating in client meetings alongside Forvis Mazars partners and managers

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate positions require a bachelors or masters degree in accounting
• Associates must be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in the state in which your office will be located
• Solid technical accounting knowledge
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior internships in a public accounting firm performing tax work

New York City Pay Transparency Pursuant to the pay transparency laws of New York State and other local ordinances within the state including (but not limited to) New York City, the salary range displayed is for the New York markets. The salary for this role will be based on the experience, education, and skill set of the individual for the position. Total compensation and benefits consist of salary, group health plan benefits, 401(K), profit-sharing contributions, flexible time off, and parental leave. Forvis Mazars reserves the right to make changes to the salary range based on business needs. New York Salary Range: NY Minimum Salary (USD) $ 64,100 NY Maximum Salary (USD) $ 84,900
