Description

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our clients team in Portland, Oregon. This role focuses on supporting finance operations and maintaining reporting systems to ensure seamless business processes. As part of a non-profit organization, you will contribute to meaningful projects in a collaborative environment. This is a long-term contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and enhance budgeting and forecasting systems, including troubleshooting, user support, and report generation.

• Administer user access by managing report distribution, licensing, and new user setup.

• Develop and sustain customized reporting solutions, such as dynamic forecasting tools.

• Facilitate smooth data integration processes between platforms, including SharePoint.

• Provide ongoing support for database management tasks to optimize data accuracy.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable solutions.

• Utilize Power BI to deliver insightful dashboards and analytics.

• Analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making and operational improvements.

• Ensure compliance and accuracy in all financial reporting processes.

Requirements• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in finance-focused roles.• Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and analysis.• Hands-on experience with Great Plains Dynamics or similar platforms.• Strong understanding of financial analysis and reporting techniques.• Familiarity with database management and data integration processes.• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with diverse teams.• Experience supporting non-profit organizations is a plus.
