OverviewThe Office Relocation Specialists role is to assist the Real Estate Construction Management team with a variety of tasks for our branch locations throughout the Americas. This includes coordination with branch leadership and AJGs preferred vendors.
How youll make an impact- Serve as a point of contact for the local business during an office relocation / consolidation.
- Work with the move vendor, and the local business to assure that all existing spaces are properly and timely decommissioned in accordance with the lease.
- Initiate quotes from vendors and oversee installation of furniture, low voltage cabling and equipment as need for minor office reconfigurations in accordance with the lease.
- Schedule weekly calls with the local business, GC, IT and all vendors to recap project status in effort to keep project on schedule.
- Coordinate with the local business contact and the move vendor to assure that the move is properly planned.
- Work with the move vendor, and the local business to assure that all existing spaces are properly and timely decommissioned.
- Review and approve all invoices to be paid by Gallagher. Provide the invoices to accounting for capitalization. Assist other project managers with invoice processing.
- Assist with AJGs Office Services team to ensure all offices are equipped appropriately.
- Coordinate with AJGs lease administration software and team for all appropriate documentation.
- Take a role in AJGs environmental / green initiative related to real estate.
- Participate in weekly Corporate Real Estate Meetings to review and provide status updates for each project.
- Assist Real Estate Construction Managers on an ad hoc basis.
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years related experience. Must possess excellent communication and follow-up skills.
- Excellent negotiating skills essential.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent organizational & scheduling skills.
Highly Preferred:
- 2 years or more of related experience
- Experience with customer service preferably within a large corporation
