Interested, Please Refer to JOB ID# 74099Full-time/ Permanent RoleInpatient only Schedule: 7 on 7 off splitting holidays with other APPs and physicians Very light minimal call and is rotated weeklyDuties include; include evaluation of new and established diabetic patients, diabetic teaching, initiation of oral/insulin therapy, management of hyperglycemic (and hypoglycemic) states, management of DKA and hyperosmolar states, management of peri-operative blood sugars, and consultation about thyroid conditions.
Although less common, other endocrine disease (e.g., adrenal, hypothalamic/pituitary, parathyroid, hypogonadism) are seen and are managed with assistance of the physicians.
