Accounting Specialist

LHH is working with a company in the construction industry that is searching for a temporary to hire Accounting Specialist for their team. Your main tasks will be handling invoicing, posting payments, managing the aging report, and communicating with vendors. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of previous accounting experience. Since there will be opportunity to move up in the accounting department, its preferred that the candidate has at least an associates degree in business. This position is fully in office in the east Bellevue location, and free parking is available. Main Tasks:

• Process and issue invoices to clients in a timely and accurate manner.
• Post incoming payments and reconcile accounts as required.
• Manage the aging report and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Communicate regularly with vendors to address inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with additional accounting tasks and projects as needed, with potential for advancement in the department.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of two years of accounting experience.
• Associates degree in business or a related field is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with accounting software (such as QuickBooks or NetSuite) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication abilities, especially when interacting with vendors and internal teams.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Employment Details:

• Temporary to hire.
• Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
• Fully in office in Bellevue, WA.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
