Tow Truck Driver/Operator

Job description Stellar Towing LLC is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and determined Full time tow truck operator in Orlando. WinchGo is a trusted group of companies with over 9 years of experience in the towing industry, serving numerous areas across Florida. Operating 24/7.

About the Job: As a tow truck operator, you will play a crucial role in safely and efficiently transporting vehicles, providing roadside assistance, and ensuring our customers satisfaction. You will be responsible for operating tow trucks, adhering to safety protocols, and delivering exceptional service to those in need of towing or roadside assistance. Key Responsibilities: Respond to accidents, breakdowns, and other roadside incidents.

Safely load, secure, and transport vehicles. Follow towing procedures: hook up vehicles, check equipment, ensure weight distribution. Provide jump-starts, tire changes, lockout services, and minor repairs.

Demonstrate excellent customer service skills. Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on tow trucks. Maintain clear communication with dispatchers.

Record all necessary information for each service call. Interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner. Address customer concerns with empathy and effective communication.

Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering efficient services. Keep the tow truck clean and organized. Requirements: Work Hours: Ability to work 10 to 12 hours a day License: Valid commercial drivers license (CDL A preferred).

Location: Reside in Orlando or have the ability to commute to Orlando. Driving Record: Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents. Experience: Previous experience as a tow truck driver (minimum of 2 years) or in a related field is preferred.

Skills: Knowledge of towing techniques, equipment, and safety protocols. Driving Skills: Excellent driving skills and the ability to handle tow trucks in various situations. Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Independence: Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations. Physical Fitness: Physical fitness and the ability to perform towing-related tasks, including lifting and securing heavy vehicles. Mechanics Knowledge: Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics and the ability to perform minor repairs is a plus.
