Vaco is seeking an Accounting Lead for a Direct Hire opportunity! The Accounting lead position is on site in Northern Kentucky.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain compliance with internal policies and external financial regulations.

  • Ensure confidentiality of sensitive fiscal information.

  • Oversee maintenance of the General Ledger, subsidiary ledgers, and schedules.

  • Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, including Balance Sheets, Statements of Revenue and Expenses.

  • Lead month-end and year-end close processes.

  • Manage external audits, cost report audits, and 990 preparation.

  • Supervise, train, and develop accounting staff.

  • Support the Lead Manager with additional financial activities as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Business.

  • 2 years of relevant accounting experience.

  • Strong ability to work independently and lead a team.

  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individuals skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the companys 401(k) retirement plan.
