Grounds Maintenance Worker I - Cactus Yards - Part Time

Team Gilbert has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional to fill the position of Grounds Maintenance Worker I. This position is a Part Time, 20-hour per week role. With every job we fill, our focus is on providing best in class service to our citizens while offering the opportunity for professional growth in a rewarding and innovative work environment.The Grounds Maintenance Worker I reports to the Parks Field Supervisor. The primary job duties of this position include:   Performs turf maintenance cultural practices utilizing motorized equipment. Performs mowing, trimming, weeding, planting, cultivation, fertilization, watering and pruning operations Performs general landscape and cleanup duties, including trash and debris removal, graffiti removal and litter pickup. Six months previous experience and/or training in grounds maintenance, athletic field maintenance, irrigation system maintenance, equipment operation and manual labor. Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
