Full-Time Internship (12 months) - Salt Lake Temple Celebration

The Salt Lake Temple Celebration Intern is designed to provide meaningful experience in project coordination, communications, and cross-functional collaboration, while contributing to the preparations for the Salt Lake Temple Celebration. This role will be a major contributor to the success of internal systems and volunteer engagement.

• Maintain master event calendar and update with evolving experiences

• Develop operations brief for volunteer home base  

• Coordinate process for volunteer help desks

• Coordinate headset plan (order, distribute, cleaning, etc.)

• Support marketing manager - write copy, manage asset process, coordinate workflow

• PowerPoint support for the team

• Manage print and design list through workflow processes

• Help organize meetings with area teams  

• Compile and manage app and website content (from other departments)

Required

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Business Administration, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel.

• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Preferred

• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana, or similar) is a plus.

• Interest in operations, volunteer coordination, or marketing is highly desirable.
