Interim Payroll Analyst

Interim Payroll Analyst or Manager

This position is hybrid, 4 days per week at their office in San Francisco, CA., but they are open to a 100% remote consultant. This role will have a duration of 3 months. This role reports to the Head of Payroll. 

Responsibilities:

• Process payroll for around 1500 US employees (International Payroll is done separately)
• Calculate prorated earnings and deductions for new hires, terminations, and leave of absences
• Reconcile health benefit invoices and confirm via deductions from payroll
• Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
• Handle all payroll-related journal entries and reconciliations 
• Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential
• Work closely with the HR team on cross-functional projects
• Properly file and maintain HR and payroll files
• Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
• Communicate with employees and others in a professional and courteous manner while maintaining strict confidentiality of all information

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree from an accredited, four-year college or university
• 5 years of payroll experience required.
• Overall Systems-Savviness
  • ADP WFN experience is required
  • Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables)
  • NetSuite nice-to-have

Compensation: Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco by Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors, including but not limited to:

• The individuals skill sets, experience, and training;
• Licensure and certification requirements; 
• Office location and other geographic considerations; 
• Other business and organizational needs. 

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the referenced salary range reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure: $70/hour. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
