Dewberry is currently seeking a Geospatial Analyst II to support our emergency management clients. Remote positions will be considered dependent on experience. Responsibilities

• Working on federal, state, and local projects in a multitude of domains (transportation, emergency management, public health, utilities, environment, etc.), most of which will have a geospatial data component 

• Working directly with Project Managers to assist with the execution of projects, on time and within budget 

• Collaborating professionally with colleagues and clients to meet objectives and resolve technical challenges 

• Training customers on updated applications (may require travel) 

• Creating Scripts/Models to automate repetitive tasks, for both internal processes and project execution 

• Building GIS applications and managing data in the web environment 

• Providing feedback and support for developing and/or updating SOPs and project reports as necessary 

• Prioritizing data quality and integrity in all tasks 

Required Skills & Required Experience

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelors degree in data science, GIS, or related field

• 3+ years of experience in the Data Analysis or GIS field or equivalent combination with a focus on spatial data and application development 
• 2+ years of experience working with emergency management clients focusing on data analysis and program knowledge 
• Scripting and automation experience (R or Python or equivalent) 

• In-depth experience with ESRIs desktop products including ArcGIS Pro 

• In-depth experience with ESRIs web-based products including those contained in the AGOL and Enterprise Portal environments 

• Independently managing tasks within projects when appropriate 

• Ability to handle multiple priorities under tight schedules as required 

• Strong verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable with client-facing projects 

• Proficiency in basic computer applications, especially MS Office (Word, Excel, and Access) 

Beneficial Skills & Experience

• Experience with Extract, transform, and load (ETL) tools (especially FME) 

• Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise and database administration 

• Experience with Branch Versioning in the ESRI environment 

• Experience with MS Power Suite (Power Automate, Power BI, etc.) 

• Experience with open-source solutions including QGIS, PostGIS, GeoServer, etc. 

• NGA certifications, ESRI certifications, GISP Certification, ASPRS certifications in Lidar or other Remote Sensing technologies 

• Current and valid security clearance (Secret or higher)

The projected range for this position is $67,000 - $86,000 annually in our Los Angeles, CA office. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.

Salary Range

The projected range for this position is $67,000 - $86,000 annually in our Los Angeles, CA office. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
