About the role

Were on the hunt for someone to own and supercharge our cold outbound channel across the US and globally. Email is one of Ripplings most powerful customer-acquisition levers: we have best-in-class deliverability, a huge addressable market — everyone needs payroll ;) — and state-of-the-art internal tooling — IFYKYK. We need you to help push it even further.

In this role, you will be Ripplings go-to cold outbound email expert. You will be responsible for driving the success of our US campaigns, supporting our international and standalone product teams, and you will support our outbound org to write more effective emails. To accomplish this you will build email campaigns and perform industry-leading personalizations at a level of scale and revenue impact that cannot be matched. You will also work closely with our growth engineers to optimize our internal tooling and sending infrastructure.

What you will do
  • Lead end-to-end cold email experimentation—from brainstorming personalized campaign ideas and creative CTAs to running A/B tests and scaling winners
  • Partner closely with product marketing, demand gen, marketing ops, and analytics to turn emails into demos and drive revenue
  • Work closely with our growth and GTM engineers to optimize our automated email system for deep personalization while maintaining simplicity
  • Work closely with your sales counterparts to maximize ROI of positive replies and assist their efforts using AI
  • Continuously optimize performance while exploring new ways to unlock growth
  • Influence the outbound, international, and standalone product email strategy
  • Lead email experimentation from strategic brainstorming of personalized campaign ideas and creative CTAs to designing and running rigorous A/B and multivariate tests across all elements, and scaling winners
  • Analyze campaign performance data and overall channel metrics across the entire funnel to continuously optimize results, identify opportunities for improvement, and explore new ways to unlock growth
  • Leverage advanced automation platforms, such as Clay, and understand GTM engineering principles to create hyper-personalized and highly effective campaigns at scale
What you will need
  • 2+ years of experience driving growth through email or performance marketing in a fast-paced environment, comfortable with both quantitative analysis and qualitative execution.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to analyze complex data sets using tools like Tableau, Looker, SQL or similar, to identify trends, measure performance (open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, LTV, ROI), and derive actionable conclusions for optimization.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a portfolio showcasing persuasive, clear, and concise B2B SaaS email content designed for different audience segments.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing robust A/B and multivariate testing frameworks and methodologies to continuously improve campaign performance.
  • Solid understanding of GTM engineering principles, including automated outbound systems, ETL data pipelines, and leveraging AI for scale and personalization.
  • Direct experience with lead generation, data enrichment, and advanced personalization platforms (e.g., Clay), or running a cold outbound agency, is highly desirable.
