Who are we looking for?

Seeking an accomplished Data Architect with 15-20 years of experience, specializing in enterprise data architecture and advanced analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will architect, design, and govern robust data ecosystems, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-quality data platforms that enable business intelligence and digital transformation. This role requires deep expertise in data modeling, integration, governance, and advanced reporting, with a strong focus on leveraging Power BI for enterprise analytics.

Experience:  

15-20 years in data architecture, data engineering, and analytics, with a proven track record of designing and implementing largescale data solutions in complex enterprise environments. Extensive experience in data platform modernization, cloud and hybrid architectures, and leading cross functional teams through data driven initiatives.

Technical Skill Sets:

Enterprise Data Architecture:  

 Expert in designing and implementing enterprise-wide data architectures, including data lakes, data warehouses, and data marts.

 Proficient in defining data standards, reference architectures, and best practices for data modeling and integration.

 Experience with both on premises and cloud-based data platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).

 Skilled in architecting solutions for structured, semi structured, and unstructured data.

 Ability to assess and select appropriate technologies, tools, and frameworks for data management.

Data Modeling & Integration:  

 Advanced expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling for transactional and analytical systems.

 Proficient in dimensional modeling (star/snowflake schemas), normalization/denormalization, and metadata management.

 Experience with data modeling tools (Erwin, PowerDesigner, Oracle SQL Developer Data Modeler, etc.).

 Skilled in architecting and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and integration across heterogeneous sources.

 Deep understanding of data lineage, master data management (MDM), and data cataloging.

Power BI Architecture & Analytics:  

 Extensive experience architecting enterprise Power BI solutions, including data model design, workspace strategy, and governance.

 Advanced proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and complex data transformations.

 Skilled in integrating Power BI with various data sources (databases, data lakes, APIs, cloud platforms).

 Experience designing scalable and secure Power BI environments, including rowlevel security, data privacy, and compliance.

 Ability to define and implement Power BI deployment pipelines, CI/CD, and lifecycle management.

 Expertise in Power BI licensing, capacity planning, and performance optimization for large user bases.

Data Governance & Security:  

 Proven ability to define and enforce data governance frameworks, data quality standards, and stewardship processes.

 Experience implementing data privacy, regulatory compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.), and security controls.

 Skilled in developing data dictionaries, glossaries, and lineage documentation.

 Ability to conduct data audits, risk assessments, and support data quality initiatives.

Cloud & Hybrid Data Platforms:  

 Experience architecting hybrid and multicloud data solutions, including migration and integration strategies.

 Familiarity with cloudnative data services (Azure Synapse, AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, etc.).

 Skilled in designing data pipelines for both batch and realtime processing, including streaming architectures.

 Knowledge of automation, orchestration, and monitoring tools for data workflows.

Leadership & Collaboration:  

 Demonstrated leadership in guiding teams of data engineers, modelers, and BI developers.

 Experience collaborating with business stakeholders, translating requirements into scalable data solutions.

 Ability to mentor and develop talent, foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

 Strong communication skills, capable of presenting complex architectural concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences.

Responsibilities:

 Architect and govern enterprise data platforms, ensuring scalability, security, and high performance.

 Design and implement robust data models and integration frameworks to support analytics and reporting.

 Lead the endtoend architecture and deployment of Power BI solutions, ensuring best practices in data modeling, security, and governance.

 Define and enforce data standards, governance policies, and quality frameworks across the organization.

 Collaborate with business and IT leaders to align data architecture with strategic objectives.

 Oversee data migration, modernization, and cloud adoption initiatives, minimizing business disruption.

 Mentor and lead crossfunctional teams, providing technical direction and architectural guidance.

 Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions to enhance data capabilities.

 Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational security policies.

 Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for data architectures, models, and processes.

 Drive continuous improvement in data management, analytics, and reporting practices.

Preferred Experience, Skills & Competencies:

 Deep expertise in enterprise data architecture, data modeling, and analytics.

 Extensive experience with Power BI, including architecture, security, and deployment at scale.

 Strong knowledge of cloud data platforms and hybrid architectures.

 Proven leadership in largescale data transformation and modernization projects.

 Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

 Experience in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, etc.) is a plus.

 Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and DevOps practices for data engineering and analytics.

 Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in fast paced environments.

Experience tenure (leadership, overall)

 1520+ years overall work experience required

 5+ years in data architect level roles across engineering / solutioning / consulting / design
