Logistics Coordinator

Overview

As a Logistics Coordinator, youll play a vital role in driving our operational efficiency by overseeing the entire process of receiving, documenting, allocating, and shipping essential goods for curriculum and R&D across multiple campuses. Your contributions to supplier relationships, procurement, and inventory management are crucial to the seamless execution of our educational mission.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Take charge of the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, including supplier negotiation, procurement, and final delivery, across multiple campus sites.
• Manage and document all received tools, training aids, vehicles (TTEV), and non-TTEV purchases, including modification and assembly.
• Proactively manage and meticulously document surplus and rolling inventory to maintain a highly organized warehouse following 5S principles.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with purchasing, facilities, accounting, and education teams to ensure seamless logistics and resolve issues.
• Strategically source and negotiate bids, prepare RFQs/RFPs, and issue purchase orders to maximize savings and value.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required; BS/BA in Supply Chain Management preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in purchasing, expediting, or a related logistics field.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Oracle PeopleSoft is highly desirable.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on building supplier relationships.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of independent judgment.
• Organization: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

• Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment.
