We are hiring a full-time Center Specialist for our Fort Collins office. Guaranteed full time hours and mentorship from a very passionate Clinical Director with a quarter century of ABA experience that is heavily involved in advocacy at the state and national level. This is a GREAT position for someone pursuing their BCBA credential as approximately 75% work hours count towards unrestricted tasks!

Specific Responsibilities

Clinical

  • Provide behavior support and skill building in the center (RBT level)
  • Implements behavior support plans as written in the clients FBA and/or other assessments and assist staff in crisis situations providing guidance on Safety Care procedures
  • Collect accurate data as outlined in the clients FBA
  • Run IOA sessions in the center on a bi-weekly basis for each RBT/BT
  • Assist with training new BT/RBT staff in the center
  • Complete data and special incident reports in a timely fashion
  • Break center staff for lunches as assigned by scheduling team and provide supervision to clients on break
  • Provide Safety Care training to staff and families in the center
  • Track staff Safety Care expiration dates and schedule trainings accordingly
  • Submit completed safety care training records to Director
  • Problem solve with staff as needed related to client therapeutic needs
  • Assist staff with emergency protocols/safety procedures
  • Maintain client confidentiality per HIPPA and company policy
  • Act as liaison between Clinical Director/BCBAs and BT/RBT staff to communicate needs
  • Complete session note/appointment in systems and obtain parent signatures (when appropriate) prior to leaving shift
  • Attend and participate in training and development activities as required

Administrative/Professional

  • Arrives for scheduled shifts within 5 minutes of start time
  • Greet clients upon arrival to center; conduct temperature checks and wellness screening for each client and staff member
  • Review incident reports for BT/RBT staff and submit to BCBA(s) and Clinical Director to ensure signatures are collected; upload to client and state portal
  • Administer medication and/or other first aid under the supervision of a nurse implementing care plans
  • Generate stimuli for clients in center
  • Create daily client schedules in center
  • Ensure daily client schedules are being implemented
  • Ensure all necessary materials required for daily client activities are available
  • Conduct SOAP note audits with tracking form updates and staff coaching
  • Participate in Hiring of RBT staff
  • Monitor new hire training checklists and remind trainers to update as needed
  • Ensure staff are keeping center areas clean and organized at all times
  • Address center based RBT concerns as appropriate
  • Interact in a professional and ethical manner with client parents, other staff and family members
  • Adhere to and enforce Seven Dimensions Behavioral Health policies and procedures manual
  • Understand and follow mandated reporter state laws and procedures
  • Maintain the facility to 7D standards for “look and feel”, including regular organization and light cleaning
  • Complete special projects as assigned by BCBAs or Clinical Director
  • Other administrative duties as assigned

  • 1+ years formal work experience in education, psychology, or social services fields.
