Responsibilities
  1. Gathering functional requirements, developing technical specifications, and project & test planning.
  2. Drive significant technology initiatives end to end across multiple layers of architecture.
  3. Drive architecture, design, and implementation of highly available, scalable, and secure web services, and be a catalyst to Intuits AWS journey.
  4. Act as a technical leader, mentoring engineers, demonstrating expertise, and leading small teams to solve complex problems.
  5. Work cross-functionally with teams including product management, QE, release management, Ops, and others to drive results.
  6. Ensure project work complies with architectural vision, business requirements, and standards.
  7. Apply experience and innovation to generate ideas for emerging business needs, fueling growth.
  8. Design and develop features in Billing, coordinating with offering and finance teams for end-to-end solutions.
  9. Mentor junior engineers and new team members, and tackle challenging programming and design problems.
  10. Experience with Agile, SCRUM, or Extreme Programming methodologies.

Intuit offers a competitive compensation package with performance-based rewards. The expected base pay range for this position is:

Mountain View: $197,000 - $266,500

San Diego: $185,500 - $250,000

This position is eligible for bonuses, equity rewards, and benefits. Pay is based on knowledge, skills, experience, and location. We also ensure pay equity across demographics.

Minimum Requirements
  • 5+ years in application or framework development, handling large systems.
  • At least 4 years of hands-on experience with Oracle BRM 12.0/7.5 customization and integration.
  • Knowledge of technologies like C/C++, Java, Unix/Linux/Windows platforms, Application Servers (Oracle, WebLogic, JBoss), GenAI/AI/ML, REST API.
  • Experience in subscription billing implementation.
  • BSc/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in Object-Oriented Languages and SDLC.
  • Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Understanding of software design/architecture, unit testing, and TDD.
  • Experience with AWS is a plus.
Preferred Experience
  • Developing large-scale, consumer-facing web or mobile applications.
  • Understanding challenges in scalable, available web applications.
