The Talent (Human Resources) team at Wayfair plays a critical role: we support our employees as individuals, members of teams, and as part of Wayfair. We are committed to enhancing productivity by promoting employee welfare and inclusion, fostering collaboration and innovation, and driving professional growth and retention. Our Talent team is looking for a HR Operations Associate to help achieve this mission with our centralized, virtual Employee Resource Center (ERC) that provides Talent Management support to all Wayfair employees.
As an influential and integral member of the ERC, this role will be responsible for researching and resolving routine Talent-related inquiries/requests and delivering excellent customer service to our employees across multiple countries.
What Youll Do- Research and resolve basic Talent inquiries/requests regarding HR policies, procedures, programs and systems with the assigned workstream, such as I-9 administration, benefits, internal mobility, terminations, unemployment insurance, Tier 1 HRIS requests, and more.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and resource to ERC team members, stakeholders and cross-functional partners regarding Talent system issues and tickets.
- Provide direction and guidance to leaders and employees on Talent policy and procedures while effectively mitigating business and company risk.
- Provide feedback on employee and business trends that impact team processes and policies.
- Review data and identify trends, provide insights and make recommendations to stakeholders and cross-functional partners to develop solutions that improve business results.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying issues/potential solutions and recommending improvements to Standard Operating Procedures and other process tools/templates.
- Maintain agility and prioritize workload to adapt to other projects and responsibilities as assigned to meet business needs.
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management or related field preferred.
- Prior experience working within a human resources, call center or customer service environment.
- Ability to exercise judgment in prioritizing work, responding to customer needs, and determining when an inquiry requires higher-level involvement.
- Demonstrated research and problem solving skills, with the ability to efficiently and effectively locate relevant information among various sources.
- Ability to analyze, interpret, manipulate data as it relates to the HR function.
- Comfortable adapting to change in a fast-paced, dynamic and sometimes ambiguous environment.
