Overview The Chattanooga Heart Institute offers the most comprehensive cardiac care available in this region. Founded in 1976 we now have six offices in Tennessee and one in Georgia. Our practice is made up of 29 board-certified cardiologists and three cardiothoracic surgeons. We merged with CHI Memorial Health Care System in 2011 which is part of CommonSpirit Health. Responsibilities Job Summary: Entry of hospital based and office based demographics/charges into EPM. Essential Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for correctly entering hospital and office charges in a timely manner.
  • Review charges for correct information and inform management if patterns or discrepancies are found.
  • Correctly identify charges that need modifiers based on guidelines, and coordinate with coder to correctly input charges.
  • Complete error report at the end of each month to ensure correct billing.
  • Data entry of demographics to ensure correct billing.
  • Working knowledge of various hospital systems for obtaining demographics.
  • Review and audit various logs.
Qualifications Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications:
  • Two years of data entry experience.
Pay Range $15.00 - $20.33 /hour
