Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Lohmiller & Company. As an Accounts Payable Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the processing of invoices, payments, and vendor accounts, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial transactions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial success and growth of our HVAC distribution company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable duties including 3-way matching and accurate coding of non-purchase order vendor invoices
• Reconcile invoices to purchase orders through ERP system ensuring accurate costs
• Record direct shipment confirmations for vendor-direct shipments
• Perform regular check runs by selecting invoices due, while deferring payment on others
• Mitigate fraud risk by strictly following process and procedure
• Ensure timely payment to vendors and resolve disputes accordingly
• Assist with other accounting department duties and projects as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years full-cycle accounts payable experience in a distribution/manufacturing environment
• Experience with EDI 810 transaction processing
• Software experience with Epicor Prophet 21 and DocuWare
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
• Detail oriented with accurate data entry skills
