About the Opportunity:

Northwest Talent Solutions LLC is recruiting on behalf of a leading biopharmaceutical manufacturing organization seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead production equipment reliability, process improvement, and facility operations in a regulated manufacturing environment.

This position is ideal for a technically strong, hands-on leader with expertise in Lyophilization and Liquid Nitrogen (LN2) systems who thrives in fast-paced, high-compliance settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize all production and facility maintenance operations to ensure compliance, safety, and reliability.

• Plan and schedule maintenance activities, including preventive and corrective maintenance.

• Supervise maintenance technicians, contractors, and engineering support teams.

• Write and update departmental SOPs, preventive maintenance procedures, and change controls.

• Support process improvement initiatives and coordinate with engineering and production teams.

• Oversee annual equipment rebuilds, shutdowns, and spare parts management.

• Ensure alignment with GMP, safety, and corporate maintenance standards.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent and professional training or certification in maintenance-related fields (Refrigeration, Electrical, Boiler, or Apprenticeship preferred).

• 8+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or process environments.

• 3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in maintenance or engineering.

• 5+ years of project leadership experience.

• Experience with Lyophilization and LN2 systems required.

• Strong working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, vacuum, and SIP/CIP systems.

• Familiarity with CMMS software and SAP preferred.

• Excellent communication, documentation, and leadership skills.
