Engineering Repair Coordinator

We have an immediate opening for an Engineering Repair Coordinator at our aerospace location in Chula Vista, CA. The primary focus of this role is to provide technical support to customers who use the companys products. You will work closely with customers, product management, and engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, as well as identify and prioritize product improvements.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding the companys products via phone, email, or chat.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to the companys products with a high degree of independence.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to the companys products.
• Escalate complex customer issues to the appropriate team for resolution.
• Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to identify and prioritize product improvements
• Update customer issue tracking systems and maintain accurate customer records.
• Familiarize with the companys products, including their design, functionality, and use.

The ideal candidate will have the following combination of education & experience:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in product support or a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Office products.
• 1-3 years of Measurement and/or Visual Inspection experience.
• Experience with the collection and analyzing of non-conformance data to create Trend charts and reports.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with mechanical and technical concepts.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Ability to work flexible hours, as needed.
• Regular coordination/management of repair deliverables to ensure on-time delivery.
• Prioritization of AOG (aircraft on the ground) requests and coordination of incoming e-mails and existing customer inquiries.
• Escalation of at-risk cases and complex issues with management.

Schedule requires 1 weekend day with day off during the week. For instance: Tuesday through Saturday or Sunday through Thursday.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
