Kohler Industries began in 1975, with 3 employees based out of a single fabrication shop in the heart of Lincoln, NE. In the past 40 years, we have expanded to include 7 manufacturing shops, over 8 acres of physical inventory, and 2 distinct subsidiary brands.

We specialize in building and refurbishing the processing equipment that major food producers rely on, including several Fortune 500 companies. Because our team of fabricators work hard and run lean, we take on the challenges other manufacturers won’t.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Properly set up and operate welding equipment, utilizing best practice safety procedures
• Execute good TIG/MIG welding on a variety of machines/parts/positions
• Assist in installation of parts and assemblies
• Perform, notate, and effectively communicate accurate measurements
• Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner, utilizing required safety equipment
• Keep work area neat and orderly

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous production, or industrial manufacturing experience
• Proven ability with TIG welding equipment
• Must be able to read and understand technical drawings and blueprints
• A problem-solving mindset with strong mechanical skills
• Adaptable to a fast paced, constantly moving environment
• Easily acquire and implement new skills “on the fly”
• Proficient with hand, power, and shop tools and equipment
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Must be comfortable bending, stretching, standing for extended periods of time
