Inventory and Logistics Specialist

Accent Prone is a family-owned and operated small business that specializes in furniture and home accents. By sourcing and offering distinctive furniture and décor, our curated collection of home furnishings aims to inspire customers to break away from conventional trends and big box store designs. After eleven years (almost 12) years of business, Accent Prone has grown from one brick and mortar store to multiple retail locations, warehouses, and an online store, all backed by a talented team of creative individuals! As we continue to grow, we are to expanding our team to include a full-time Inventory and Logistics Specialist to handle the following responsibilities:

• Operate an inventory management system to read invoices, input items, allocating products to the correct location, and continually monitoring inventory levels.
• Processing and fulfilling customer orders in a timely and accurate manner including (but not limited to) wrapping furniture in-store, loading furniture onto trucks, assisting with local deliveries, and packaging online orders.
• Manage the transportation and distribution of products to various locations.
• Coordinate incoming deliveries with trucking companies and drivers. This may include directing and meeting drivers at correct location, assisting drivers in unloading deliveries when needed, inspecting boxes for damages, and properly storing items upon delivery.
• Moving furniture in and out of our store, assisting sales associates in setting store displays, relocating sold items to the correct location, and bringing in new arrivals.
• Loading and unloading shipments, breaking down pallets

Additional Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this position has the following skills & qualifications:

• Organizational Skills
• Technology Proficiency: must be able to utilize an inventory management systems and other relevant technologies to track and manage inventory.
• Team Collaboration: work alongside our team to aid with the flow of merchandise including setting store displays and moving furniture between our multiple store and warehouse locations.
• Customer Service: ensure customer needs/demands are met in a timely and satisfactory manner.
• Ability to lift 100 pounds or more: this position regularly requires cooperation in moving heavy furnishings, loading and unloading trucks.

Work Hours and Benefits:

• Monday through Friday from 9A - 5P, occasional Saturdays may be requested
• Hourly rate depending on experience, starting at $18 per hour.
