Dog Groomer

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Dog Groomer to join our team with a minimum of 2 years working experience as a Dog Groomer. You will be responsible for providing grooming services to a variety of dogs, ensuring their comfort and well-being. If you have a love for animals and possess excellent grooming skills, we would love to hear from you.

The grooming position pays base hourly or commission depending on production and hours of work.

Duties:
- Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, and haircuts for various pets
- Provide nail trims, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing
- Assess the condition of pets coats and skin, identifying any potential health issues
- Handle animals with care and compassion, ensuring their safety throughout the grooming process
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area
- Communicate with pet owners to understand their specific grooming requests and preferences
- Monitor pets for any signs of stress or discomfort during the grooming process
- Keep accurate records of each pets grooming history

Skills:
- Strong customer service skills to interact with pet owners in a professional and friendly manner
- Knowledge of different grooming techniques for various breeds of dogs
- Experience in animal restraint techniques to ensure the safety of both the groomer and the pet
- Familiarity with dog handling practices
- Ability to handle animals with patience, care, and compassion
- Ability to lift heavy objects as needed during the grooming process
- Excellent attention to detail in order to provide precise grooming services
- Passion for pet care and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
