Chaupain Bakery is a growing bakery and cafe in Orange County. We pride ourselves in having the highest quality croissants, pastries, and food. We are looking for motivated individuals to join our baking team. Currently, we have TWO open positinos for night-shift and TWO open positions for mid-shift/day-shift.

Job duties for Assistant Baker include, but are not limited to:

  • Set up pastry station according to production guidelines.
  • Shape a variety of croissants
  • Assist with finish work on croisssants and baked items
  • Prepare all pastry items as directed and according to company standards.
  • Follow recipes, portion controls and presentation specifications as set by the Pastry Chef
  • Restock items as needed throughout the shift.
  • Maintain a clean station in practicing good safety, sanitation, and organization.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Respect for others
  • Ability to follow directions
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand and work on your feet for long periods of time

Education, Experience, and Licenses

  • We are willing to train, but 2+ years experience in baking, croissant shaping a plus
  • Current Food Handlers Card or ability to obtain one

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
