We are currently recruiting for the position of:
Warehouse Worker Produce Dept - Roseville DC
The Warehouseman performs an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming product and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving product in the warehouse. The Warehouseman may use equipment such as forklifts, and electric pallet jacks to move product.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Process requests and supply orders; pull materials; palletize product; wrap product, place orders in delivery area
- Unload inbound merchandise, recyclables, pallets, bins, and dunnage from trailers
- Transport received product and items from dock area to merchandise racks or other assigned area(s)
- Move pallets from racks to replenish pick locations
- Load product into company and third-party vendor trailers
- Salvage product; recoup damaged goods, repackage or process per company policy
- Maintain inventory control; record product movement received or distributed electronically, may assist with counting of physical inventory
- Ensure accuracy of work and adherence to production and safety standards
- Complete reports by entering required information
- Perform other duties as assigned
Hiring pay range: $21.74 - 27.69
Requirements (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
- Knowledge of warehouse practices and systems
- Strong familiarity with typical warehouse conditions and equipment
- Highly functional in a team environment with strong cooperation and team building attributes
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Good organizational skills
- Attention to detail
Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Experience: Minimum 6 months related experience
Other: Must have the ability to become forklift certified. Must wear appropriate safety equipment (to include steel toe shoes)
Physical: Warehouse environment: standing, sitting, bending, stooping, walking, climbing, kneeling, reaching, handling and rotation; lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling may be required of objects and/or equipment; must be able to lift 90 lbs. Exposure to varying extremes of heat and cold
