The Senior Manager, Internal Communications is responsible for developing and executing strategic plans and channel strategies for all internal communication programs. They will serve as the trusted communications partner to the business, advising and supporting stakeholders on a variety of communication initiatives targeted to our internal and field team members. They are responsible for delivering innovative, compelling communications that are strategically aligned, timely, and delivered optimally. The manager will be metrics-drive, consistently reviewing and assessing engagement rates to inform future plans.

Essential Functions:

• Develop and executive a comprehensive, strategically aligned communications strategy and annual timeline to educate, inform, align, and engage internal and field team members on a variety of strategic, tactical, and cultural topics.
• Partner with key stakeholders to understand and assess needs, provide meaningful counsel, and translate these needs into action via customized plans and tactics that achieve desired results through effective, targeted, multi-channel communications.
• Collaborate with internal business partners and external communications team to build holistic, integrated campaigns where appropriate, leveraging the technologies and channels to reach target audiences.
• Apply a change management mindset, demonstrating an appreciation for the varying impact and reaction to change across teams and individuals, and adeptly shaping communication with a heightened sense of awareness and compassion.
• Work with communications leadership to set measurable objectives and metrics, and consistently evaluate current practices to identify opportunity areas to evolve.
• Ensure the overall communications approach and deliverables align with communications best practices, corporate brand standards, and reflect the company culture, brand, mission, vision, and values.

Skills and Abilities Required:

• Eight to ten years of related experience, including five to seven years of experience in communications.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally and within a complex, matrixed organization to drive results.
• Expertise in one or more of the following competencies: strategic communications, internal communications, marketing communications, omni-channel digital communications strategy, performance analytics.
• Experience working with various communications platforms, such as SharePoint, FirstUp, Poppulo, Unily and / or other common communications tools.

Education and Experience Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field required.
• Digital channel management expertise and technological knowledge of common communications tools/platforms highly preferred.

Salary: $135-145k with bonus opportunity
