UNCOMN is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to:
- Manage all aspects of the recruitment process including sourcing, pre-screening, multi-round interviews across multiple time zones, reference checks, salary negotiations, and offers in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Develop talent pipelines, relationships, and partnerships that facilitate future initiatives and needs
- Consult and prepare, both candidates and hiring managers, before and after interviews
- Provide detailed feedback to leadership regarding applications and consult on candidate progression
- Network to foster long-term relationships with candidates, UNCOMN teammates, and community partners
- Manage respective candidate pools to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future opportunities
- Closely partner with directors, hiring managers, and other team members involved in the hiring process to assess staffing needs and requirements while gaining an understanding of the role and key attributes required for matching the right candidates to positions
- Review requirements and post/manage openings on UNCOMN’s public website, LinkedIn, and Indeed
- Maintain records used for recruitment, including interview notes and related forms, to share with key stakeholders
- Continually identify opportunities to improve recruiting strategy and candidate experience processes
- Organize and participate in university fairs, boot camp presentations, and professional networking and corporate events to support the UNCOMN brand and growth plan
Requirements
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal skills to build long-lasting professional relationships
- Ability to work independently as well as provide strong contributions to group collaboration
- Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance, granted by the US Government as needed, which requires US citizenship. The government also uses 13 adjudicative guidelines to determine an individuals eligibility
- Must be eager to learn and work with a fun, uncommon team!
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university
- Experience with Applicant Tracking System(s) and/or LinkedIn Recruiter
- Previous Talent Acquisition experience within IT Consulting and/or Government Contracting
- Flexible PTO effective on day 1*
